From a simple idea that has proven itself many times over

HEUBATEC has clear roots in agriculture, especially in horse farming and breeding as well as horseback riding. Our main developers and the engineers of the machines have a direct connection to the stable operation. They know how to handle straw and hay directly from decades of experience and have largely grown up with horses themselves. 

Growing up together and having daily contact with the horses has left a natural feeling for the animals’ needs. Down-to-earthiness and an eye for the essentials are fundamental qualities that our entire team has in common. This life experience, combined with in-depth expertise in mechanical engineering, laid the foundation for HEUBATEC.

The search for a specific solution is widely appreciated  

Dust and dirt in hay and straw have so far been an accepted thorn in the eye in agriculture and horse farming - because an effective solution to the well-known problem was apparently not found. 

However, the knowledge gained and developed by our team about the special properties of the straw products formed the central basis for the technologies available at HEUBATEC today. Thanks to the happy combination of proximity to day-to-day farm practice and technical expertise, we were finally able to develop a long-awaited solution. 

The first hay bale shredder went into operation in 2014 and thanks to the great response and positive feedback, we were able to continuously optimise and develop this technology. We keep working with great enthusiasm to raise the quality standards of our tried-and-tested machines and meet the needs of our customers with new technologies.

Efficient and effective in horse farming - and far beyond  

We also want to use the strong potential available to us today for further innovations in the hay and straw sector. To our own surprise, in recent years it has become increasingly clear what the HEUBATEC principle can do - even far from its original fields of application. 

Various industrial branches have discovered the added value of clean, dedusted straw for themselves and used it effectively in a wide variety of ways. These developments in the past impressively show that many new (unprecedented) paths can still be paved in the future with our technology and the products obtained from it.

With growing potential and expanded perspectives, we have also continuously nurtured and strengthened our network of competent suppliers and cooperation partners.
